Dr. Carolyn Hebson is a board-certified, dual fellowship-trained anterior segment surgeon. She specializes in cataract, incisional and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), cornea, refractive, and complex anterior segment surgery. She is an experienced surgeon who has served patients across the Southeast and staffed Emory residents learning surgical skills during their residency. She has presented research on efficacy of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and published papers covering topics of LASIK and hypotony associated with chronic uveitis. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine with honors and won numerous scholarships and awards as a chemical engineering major at Auburn University.
How do you spend your free time away from the office? I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
Do you have any pets? Yes, I have an extraordinary cat.
